Module Overview

This course is designed to help healthcare professionals understand the core concepts of dermatology, from basic anatomy and hysiology to specific medical and nursing management of skin conditions. It focused in developing a critical understanding of the description of dermatological conditions, referral pathways, and medical and nursing management.
The course aims to develop the ability to identify common skin disorders in particular subgroups of the population and to understand the specific treatment pathways.

It has been presented in a manner that it is suitable for nursing students who are focusing in dermatological conditions under medical surgical nursing as well as professional nurses who want to refresh and cement their understanding of dermatology.
